An academic delegation from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University (USA) visited Maharshi Dayanand niversity (MDU) today to explore possibilities of academic colloboration with MDU and I.I.M. (Rohtak) - which would start functioning from next academic session.
Prof. Daniel Smith, Dean, Kelley School of Business and Chair Professor, Claire W. Barker Chair in Marketing, Prof. A. Venkataramanan, Associate Dean (Acad. Programs) and Prof. Usha Venkataramanan, Director-Student & Alumni Affairs formed part of the delegation.
Prof. Daniel Smith, expressing satisfaction over the academic programmes and infrastructure facilities and varsity strengths, showed keen interest in academic collaboration, students’ and faculty exchange with M.D.U. Earlier, Dr. R.P. Hooda, Vice-Chancellor, M.D. University, alongwith Deans of faculties and other University functionaries welcomed Prof. Daniel Smith and other delegates. MDU
Vice-Chancellor Dr. R.P. Hooda said that MDU is well set for international linkages. He briefed about the varsity profile. Prof. Surender Kumar, Dean, Academic Affairs and other Dean(s) gave details about the academic programmes, etc. The delegation toured the varsity campus and saw various developmental works. MDU Dean, Students’ Welfare Prof. Rajbir Singh, Dean, Students Welfare Prof. Rajbir Singh, Registrar, Dr. S.P. Vats, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. A.K. Rajan, Dean, College Development Council, Prof. Dalip Singh, Director, Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee, Deans of Faculties, etc. were present on the occasion.
