CHANDIGARH, APRIL 7
The XVI Haryana State Junior and Sub-Junior Chess Championship will be held at Rohtak from April 15 to 17. The meet is being organised by the the District Chess Association Rohtak under the aegis of the Haryana Chess Association, according to association general secretary Pradeep Gupta.
Competitions will be held for U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 and U-19. The state team for forthcoming Nationals will be selected during the state meet.
According to association treasurer Naresh Sharma more than 40 players from Gurgaon are likely to participate in this event.
