Haryana School Education Board has extended the last date of registration for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) to be held in December 2017, from November 10 to Novermber 13.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Board said that the candidates could make correction in their applications from November 11 to November 15. The candidates have only been allowed to make corrections in their name, father and mother name, date of birth, mobile number, residential address, subject, gender, uploaded photo and signature, he added.
He said that if any candidate could not submit the fee by November 13, due to transaction failure, then such candidates could only submit their fee again online from November 14 to 15. No application will be accepted after the last date and after November 15, no applicant will be allowed to make corrections and submit their fee, he added.
BIRTH ANNIVERSARY: Haryana Government has decided to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of great freedom fighter, eminent educationist, the first Union Minister of Education, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on November 11, 2017 as National Education Day.
While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that on this day, educational institutes at all levels would be involved in the celebration by organizing seminars, symposia, essay writing, elocution competitions, workshops and rallies with banners, cards and slogans on the importance of education and the nation’s commitment to all aspects of education.
CM ENQUIRES WELL-BEING OF ELDER COBBLER: Adhering to the ideology of ‘Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas’, the Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today stopped his convoy while passing through Shahabad city to enquire about well-being of an elderly cobbler, Ajmer Singh sitting by the roadside.
The Chief Minister gave Rs 50,000 out of his discretionary funds to Ajmer Singh and assured him that separate arrangement would be made for education of his two grandsons.
