A mesmerizing fancy dress & declamation contest

CHANDIGARH, JULY 15
The enthusiasm was on the ninth cloud in Hallmark Public School. Student, teachers and parents were busy to unleash their creativity for the fancy dress contest held for the classes Playway to II.

The theme for the classes Playway to LKG was 'Creativity with Newspaper'. And that for the classes UKG to II was 'Problems of Global Concern', in which around 200 children depicted the burning issues of the world, like global warming; terrorism, usage of polythene, etc. The message was very clear that even these tiny tots are also want to be a part of the campaign against these global problems.

Today's children are the citizens of tomorrow & with them lies the growth of our society. To create awareness amongst them, a declamation contest on the theme 'Social Taboos in India' was also organized. Students of class III onwards participated enthusiastically in it. The issues of child labour, drug addiction, female foeticide, dowry system etc. were picked up by the students for the Preliminary round, which held in their respective classes and the best were selected for the final round. The Judgement was made on the basis of content, pronunciation and presentation.

Principal Kavita Wadhwa informed that such competitions are the indispensable part of the curriculum of the Hallmark Public School, because the holistic growth of a sensitized child can ensure us responsible & dedicated citizens of tomorrow.

The creativity of parents and children was unleashed today in Hallmark Public School, where a Fancy Dress Contest was organised.
