Vanmohatsav was celebrated in the Junior Wing of DAV Senior. Public School, Surajpur, Pinjore today. Members of school cabinet and sadans i.e. Dharma, Ahimsa, Vivek and Satya dressed-up daintily in their colourful uniforms were full of activity and enthusiasm. They planted saplings in and around the school.
Viewing their efforts, Principal R.P. Anand applauded them saying “ Bloom and Spread Fragrance like these Beautiful Creatures” . Co-ordinator Sukhjeevam Sharma said just as the plants are selfless and sacrificing, we should follow their example in life.
Finally towards the finale of the programme the students pledged to save mother earth promised to keep it green ever and forever.
