A recruitment
rally for Territorial Army Soldiers (General Duty) & Soldiers (Tradesmen – Clerk,
Washerman, House Keeper and Chef (cook)) will be held at 103 Infantry Battalion (TA)
Sikh LI at GT road, Milerganj, Ludhiana
from March 26 to 28 for candidates from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh,
J&K, UT Chandigarh and National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
March 26 is for candidates from Haryana, Himachal
Pradesh and NCT of Delhi while March 27 is for candidates from Punjab, J&K
and UT Chandigarh. Documentation and
medical examination for screened candidates will be held on March 28. Candidates
should be in the age group of 18 to 42 years, matriculate with 45% marks except
dists of Lahul, Spiti and Kinnaur of (HP) for which 8th standard is
minimum for General Duty. For clerk 10+2
exam pass Arts, Commerce, Science with English) with minimum 50% of marks in
aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject and 10th class
simple pass for Tradesmen, Washerman, house Keeper & Chef (cook). Candidate’s weight (minimum) should be 50 kg,
Chest (minimum) 77-82 Cms and Height (minimum) 160 Cms and should be gainfully employed with a
certificate to this effect from the employer.
Preference will
be given to ITI qualified personnel, Drivers with experience of light and heavy
vehicles driving licence, Computer qualified personnel sportsman and cooks with
prior experience. The candidates should possess
education certificate with attested copies, job employment certificate from
employer with appointment letter in original, details of salary and experience,
native residence certificate signed by District Magistrate/ Sub divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar,
character certificate signed by Gram
Pradhan/village sarpanch not be more than six months old, six passport size
coloured photographs from same negative, Sportsmen to carry requisite
certificates, diploma Certificate of cooking course and any other certificate such
as Computer diploma, ITI diploma.
