Ambala Cantt Hospital to be upgraded

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 16
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that as many as 94 posts will be filled to upgrade General Hospital Ambala Cantt and it will also be upgraded to 100-bedded hospital. At present, it is 75-bedded hospital.
Mr Anil Vij said that to fulfill the long pending demand of people of Ambala, the State Government has taken this decision to upgrade this hospital. He said that up-gradation of hospital would not only benefit the people of Ambala and but this would also help the people living nearby villages in getting proper treatment. He said that the state government is committed to provide people with better healthcare facilities at their doorsteps.
Mr Vij said that of the 94 sanctioned posts; two posts each are of Senior Medical Officer, Deputy Superintendent, Physiotherapist, Nursing Sister, Dental Assistant Mechanics, Ophthalmic Assistants, Store Keeper; thirty-one posts of Medical Officer; 18 posts of Staff Nurse, seven posts of Lab Technician, four posts of OTA, three posts of ECG Technician and one post each of Senior Dental Surgeon, Dental Surgeon, Clinical Psychologist, Audiometric, Matron, Senior Pharmacists, Pharmacists, Senior Lab Technician, Radiographer, Plaster Technician, Dietician, Accountant Assistant, Head Clerk or Deputy Superintendent, Cashier, clerk with computer knowledge, Bio Medical Engineer and Driver.
