DA rates modified by Haryana Government

The Haryana Government has modified the rates of the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees with effect from 1.7.2009.
The employees who are getting their salary in the revised pay scale will get DA at the rate of 27 per cent of pay in Pay Band + Grade Pay + NPA, wherever applicable and those who are getting their salary in unrevised pay scale will get DA at the rate of 69 per cent of pay (Basic Pay + DP + NPA, wherever applicable).
The revised DA will be paid in cash along with the payment of salary for the month of October 2009 paid in November 2009 and the arrear accruing on account of enhancement in DA for three months i.e. from July 1 to September 30 shall be credited to the GPF of the employees.
A notification to this effect has been issued by the Finance Department, Haryana.
