As many as 17 new newspapers and periodicals started their publication from Haryana during the quarter ending December 31, 2009.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Home Department said that two newspapers/periodicals out of the total 17 newspapers/periodicals that started their publication in Haryana during the period under report were published in English and the rest in Hindi.
The newspaper that started their publication includes Adampur News, Hindi quarterly magazine from Adampur; Apna Dharam, Hindi monthly magazine from Hisar; Beauty City Hindi daily from Faridabad; Chaheta Hindi weekly magazine from Hisar; Hari Vani Hindi fortnightly magazine from Panipat; Health is Wealth Hindi monthly magazine from Hisar; Hari Duniya Hindi weekly magazine from Rohtak; Karnal Reporter Hindi fortnightly magazine from Karnal; Kakkar Times Hindi fortnightly magazine from Karnal; NIFM Journal of Public Financial Management English half yearly magazine from Faridabad; Pushp Gandha Hindi quarterly magazine from Ambala city; Poultry Express English monthly magazine from Panipat; Raksha Sandesh Hindi weekly magazine from Mahendragarh; Sun News Hindi fortnightly magazine from Ambala city; Saini Samvad Hindi monthly magazine from Rohtak; Samachar Sangh Hindi monthly magazine from Rohtak and Umeed Ki Kiran Hindi weekly magazine from Ratia.
