Haryana releases 22 crore as pending salary of ICT Lab Assistants

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 17
The Haryana Government has released an amount of over Rs 22 crore regarding the payment of pending salary of ICT Lab Assistants deployed in the labs set up by CORE Education and Technologies Limited.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Secondary Education Department said that the payment would be made strictly as per the attendance record available in schools of the Lab Assistant deployed in these labs.
The spokesman said that the amount have been released for the payment of pending salary for the period prior to termination of agreement with CORE Education and Technologies Ltd that is from September 1, 2013 to April 23, 2014 at the rate of Rs 3000 per month based on attendance that is at the rate of Rs 120 per day and pending salary for the period post termination of contract agreement with the Company that is from April 24, 2014 to April 23, 2015 on work order basis at the rate of Rs 6000 per month based on the attendance that is at the rate of Rs 240 per day.
He said that accordingly, the calculated amount on account of salary of the Lab Assistants is being transferred in the SMDC account of the concerned schools and all the payments would be made through cheque in the name of the beneficiary that is the Lab Assistant. He said that the school heads or Principals have been directed to ensure strict compliance of these instructions otherwise they would be responsible for any type of lapse in the disbursement of salary of the computer faculty. Apart from this, District Education Officers (DEOs) have been directed to monitor the proper disbursal of pending salary, he added.
