The Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University today signed a pact with IMS Health for starting a new curriculum in healthcare sector in the presence of Vice Chancellor, Mr Raj Nehru.
While Registrar, Dr Sunil Gupta signed the agreement on behalf of University, Mr Lokesh Sharma signed on behalf of IMS Health.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr Raj Nehru said that a joint effort of education and industry was a unique step to ensure better future of today's youth. Describing skill training an integral part of education, he said that definition of education could not be fulfilled without this. Today India is gaining popularity in the field of medical and healthcare services in the entire world and there are ample employment opportunities in these sectors in the time to come.
This programme will prepare skilled professionals according to demand for various sectors of the Government, NGO, Pharma Companies, Healthcare Insurance and Tourism Organizations. This programme will commence in April under which 20 students would be trained in health care sector. This program is for a period of one year and the interested students can download application from the website of University.
