Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has expressed grief over the passing away of Group Editor of Dainik Bhaskar, Mr Kalpesh Yagnik, here today.
In a condolence message issued here, the Chief Minister said with his demise we lost an intense thinker and journalist, his contribution to journalism would always be remembered. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr Rajiv Jain, Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Languages, Mr Rajesh Khullar and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages, Mr Sameer Pal Srow also condoled the death of Mr Yagnik and expressed their condolences to members of his family.
LALIT BATRA APPOINTED: The Haryana Government has appointed Lalit Batra as Vice-Chairman and Surender Ahlawat as Member of Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Haryana Government has posted HCS officer, Amrita Singh as Additional Director (Admin.) and Secretary, Higher Education Department, against a vacant post, with immediate effect.
12 MEMBERS ADDED TO HSDB: The Haryana Government has added 12 members in the existing Technical Committee of Haryana Sarasvati Heritage Development Board.
These included Mr. D.K. Chadda of New Delhi, Mr. Mangat Ram Goel of Gurugram, Mr. Michel Denino of Gujarat, Mr. Harmail Singh, Advisor to Haryana Irrigation Department, a representative of National Institute of Hydrology, Rorkee, a representative of Central Water Commission, a representative of Central Ground Water Board, a representative of Survey of India, EIC, Haryana Irrigation and Water Resource Department, EIC, Public Health Engineering Department, EIC, Public Works (Building and Roads) Department and Director, Centre of Excellence on Sarasvati River.
HIDAYAT KHAN MARG: Haryana Government has decided to rename the road from village Chandeni, Bhiwani to Shahpur Nangli, Nuh as Ch. Hidayat Khan Marg.
Stating this today, an official spokesman said that the 2.18 km long road would be reconstructed by Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Department.
TRANSFER AND POSTINGS: Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of three HPS officers, with immediate effect.
Baljit Singh, DSP, State Vigilance Bureau has been posted DSP, Ambala, in place of Mamta Kharab who will be the new DSP of Rohtak. Randhir Singh, DSP, State Vigilance Bureau has been posted DSP, HQ, Yamunanagar.
3 SPD TRANSFERED: The Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of three Superintendents of Prisons Department, with immediate effect.
Deepak Sharma, Superintendent Jail of District Jail, Narnaul has been posted at District Jail, Faridabad in place of Anil Kumar who has been posted at Head Office, Panchkula.
Surinder Dalal, Superintendent Jail of District Jail, Rewari has been given additional charge of District Jail, Narnaul.
