HED releases EDUSAT Broadcast Schedule

CHANDIGARH, MAY 30 

The Haryana Education Department has released EDUSAT Broadcast Schedule and time table for Secondary channel for the month June 2019.

          While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the department said that a letter has been sent to all the district education officers of the state, district elementary education officer and all Junior Engineers of EDUSAT Project by Directorate of School Education.

          He said that the soft copy of the programme is being distributed for the EDUSAT Broadcast Schedule and timetable in all the government schools (primary, middle and senior secondary) of the district, for the month of June 2019.

          The spokesperson said that the students can watch EDUSAT Broadcast JEE (Main), Physics on secondary channel 1, Chemistry on middle channel 3 and the Mathematics at Primary Channel-2 between 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. He said that more information could be obtained from the website http://www.schooleducationharyana.gov.in.

APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR STATE AWARDS: Chandigarh, May 30 – Haryana Government will confer state award on individuals or organizations providing outstanding services to prevent alcohol and drug addiction. For this, the State Government has invited the applications for the year 2019-20 and the individuals or organisations will have to submit their applications in their concerned District Social Welfare Office latest by June 14, 2019 up to 4 p.m.

          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department said that for this, the first prize will be of Rs 50,000, second of Rs 30,000 and third prize Rs 20,000.

          Giving information about the different categories of this award, he said that the categories included the Best Drug De-addiction Centre providing services for the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse, the Best Panchayat Raj Institution and Best Municipalities working for prevention of consumption of alcohol and intoxicants and the best schools and colleges working for spreading awareness regarding the ill effects of alcohol and intoxicants and their prevention.

          The spokesman said that people launching the Best Disease Prevention Campaign and the Best Awareness Campaign besides professionals and non-professionals who have achieved something extraordinary, will be honoured with the State Award.
