Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar), Salute Hockey Academy, Jai Bharat Hockey Academy, SAI – Academy and Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre all registered wins with a clean sheet on day four of the 1st Hockey India Junior Women Academy National Championship 2021.
In Pool C, Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) registered their second win of the competition, defeating Dhyan Chand Hockey Academy 12 – 0. Taranpreet Kaur (1’, 5’, 18’, 60’) and Captain Simranjeet Kaur (2’, 28’, 39’, 48’) starred with four goals each, while Sneha Sabharwal (13’, 53’, 55’) and Sukhpreet Kaur (33’) also got on the score sheet.
In the second match of the day in Pool C, Salute Hockey Academy defeated Raja Karan Hockey Academy 6 – 0. Captain Rajbala led the charge with three goals to her name (7’, 15’, 47’), while Mamta (33’, 37’) and Pooja (59’) also found the net.
In Pool D, Monishka’s two goals (32’, 52’) secured a 2 – 0 victory for Jai Bharat Hockey Academy over Ghumahera Riser’s Academy.
In the second Pool D encounter, SAI – Academy earned a 6 – 0 victory over Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy with goals from Hina Bano (3’, 6’), Pooja Yadav (13’, 26’), Poonam Mundu (9’) and Bhavani Madugula (57’).
In Pool A, Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre had an emphatic 9 – 0 victory over Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta. Kamla Singh (16’, 35’, 50’), Tanu Kishan (11’, 49’), Neha Lakra (25’, 59’), Nikita Toppo (4’) and Dipimonika Toppo (23’) got on the score sheet for Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre.
