 KANPUR, JAN 6

Lakshya (Baghpat) and Dolly Sharma (Bahraich) will lead the Uttar Pradesh men and women teams respectively in the 59th National Cross Country Championships 2024  in Meerut on January 12, according to Officiating Secretary, U.P. Athletics Association Narendra Kumar.

The National Cross Country meet is being organised by U.P. Athletics Association under the auspices of Athletics Federation of India. The  UP  athletes have been selected on the basis of their performance in 59 U.P. State Cross Country Championships 2024, held in Lucknow on December  22, 2024.

Team:  Captains: Lakshya (Baghpat) and Dolly Sharma (Bahraich)

Men: Pankaj Kumar, Upendra Baliyan, Shyam (U.P.Police), Rinku Singh, Manish Rajput (Agra), Divbyanshu Kumar Sitapur).

U20 men: Monu Kumar (Firozabad), Jainu Kumar(Bulandshahr), Akash Patel (Varanasi), Vikesh Dagur(Aligarh), Asihsh Kumar, Pramod Kumar(Chandauli),

U18 boys: Bhikko (Mathura), Abishek Kumar (Ghazipur).
