CHANDIGARH, Oct. 6
The Haryana Sports Department is organising the Haryana State Inter School Tournament (under 16 boys) at Yamunanagar from October 13 to 15. The Haryana State Inter School Tournament (under 16 girls) will be conducted at Kurukshetra from October 21 to 23.
A spokesman of the Haryana Sports Department said that competitions would be conducted in archery, athletics, weightlifting, wrestling, badminton, basketball, hockey, volleyball, table tennis and football. The teams/players getting first, second and third positions will get a cash prize of Rs. 500, Rs. 300 and Rs. 200, respectively. The teams/players securing first position in this tournament would take part in the National InterSchool Tournament, he added.
The spokesman said that the teams taking part in Haryana State Inter
School Tournament (under 16 boys) should reach Tejli Sports Complex,
Yamunanagar till 3 p.m on October 12 and the teams taking part in
Haryana State Inter School Tournament (under 16 girls) should reach
Dronacharya Stadium, Kurukshetra till 3 p.m on October 20.
