PANCHKULA, APRIL 12
Festivals,
in general add colour and joy to our life. Hallmarkites celebrated Baisakhi and
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti with gusto and enthusiasm.
Baisakhi
Mela for the tiny tots was scheduled to mark the festival. The tiny tots draped
themselves for the Best Punjabi- Punjaban award ,whereas the senior kids displayed their creativity in
the 'Portfolio Opus Contest, in which the students made presentation on Dr. B.
R. Ambedkar, his contribution towards the nation, and the regional importance
of Baisakhi. The wheat kernels were also distributed amongst them to mark the
occasion.
The students were told about the significance of the agriculture in
the Indian economy. Hallmarkites are sensitized to that level that the two
students Arsh and Paras approached their teacher to show their concern about
the destruction caused to the crops by the
recent hail-storm.
According to the coordinator Ms. Deepika Bhardwaj, a two-minute silence was observed by the Hallmarkites to dedicate a community prayer
for the same.
The
Director Mr. Jivtesh Garg and the Principal Ms. Kavita Wadhwa appreciated the
talents shown by her goldies and conveyed the message that as a farmer toils to
gain the best, the students should put their best efforts into every task they
do and overcome with flying colours.
