MDU and HAU issue admission notice

CHANDIGARH, MAY 25

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak  has notified the admission schedule for admission to various courses in the University Teaching Departments (UTD), Indira Gandhi P.G. Regional Centre, Meerpur  in district Rewari, and University Institute of Law and Management Studies, Gurgaon for the session 2012-2013.

            While stating this today, a spokesman of the university said that the University’s administration has a plan to set up an Admission Help Desks to guide and assist   the students regarding filling up of the online application forms. He said that details of all courses, number of seats and  eligibility conditions would be available on the University’s  website www.mdurohtak.ac.in. The information brochure would be available for sale on cash payment at Publications Cell of the University, Indira Gandhi P.G. Regional Centre, Rewari, and University Institute of Law and Management Studies, Gurgaon from May 28.  Online application forms are to be submitted to the varsity as per schedule.  A computer generated copy of the application form is to be submitted with the concerned department or the office as well.

FREE HEALTH CHECK-UP AT HAU CAMPUS
 Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar has decided to organise a free health checkup camp at its campus hospital on May 26.

          While stating this today, Dr R. S. Dalal, Senior Medical Officer of the hospital said that this camp would be organised for the staff members of the university.  He said that the health camp would he held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.A team of doctors of Metro Heart Institute, Faridabad including heart specialists, medical experts and paramedical staff would conduct health check up of the staff members of the university. He said that in addition to the consultation of the expert physicians, there would also be arrangement for various tests like ECG, Echo, blood sugar and facility to check weight and blood pressure.

 ADMISSION IN COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SCIENCES

The College of Veterinary Sciences, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and  Animal Sciences, Hisar is inviting applications for admission to three Diploma Courses  that  is  Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma (VLDD); Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology (DVLT) and Diploma in Dairy Technology (DIDT).

While stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that applications should be submitted on the prescribed form. The admission form and prospectus for these diploma courses  can be downloaded from the website of the university:www.llruvas.edu.in.

 The printed form and prospectus are also available on payment basis from the office of Dean, College of Veterinary Sciences. The printed and web based forms will be from May 31,2012. Properly filled up admission forms can be submitted to the office of Dean, without late fee, upto June 16,2012 and with a late fee of Rs.300 upto June 23,2012 by 2 p.m.  The academic qualification required for these diplomas is 10 plus two. For VLDD students of all streams can apply. For DVLT students of medical stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and for DIDT students of non-medical stream (Physics, Chemistry and  Maths) can apply. Diploma Entrance Test (DET-2012) will be conducted at various centres of Hisar . For for VLDD the test would be conducted on  July 22,2012 at 10  a.m., for DVLT on August 5,2012 at 10  a.m. and for DIDT on August 5, 2012 at 3 p.m.
