Haryana Renewable Energy Department has invited applications for State Level Energy Conservation Award for the year 2014-15 latest by October 15, 2015.
While giving this information today, Minister of State for Renewable Energy, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said that the Department has invited applications in categories like large scale industries, small scale industries, buildings of government and semi government, municipal committee, municipal corporations, government hospitals, educational institutions and commercial buildings like hotels, shopping malls, plazas etc.
He said that the Large Scale Industries having connected load more than 1 MW, would get Rs two lakh as first prize. Similarly, second prize winner would get Rs one lakh and third prize winner would get Rs 50,000. He said that Small Scale Industries having connected load upto one MW would get Rs one lakh as first prize and Rs 50,000 as second prize. Apart from this, buildings of government and semi government, municipal committee, municipal corporations, government hospitals would get first prize of Rs two lakh, second prize of Rs one lakh and third prize of Rs 50,000.
Mr. Saini said that first prize for educational institutions would be Rs one lakh, second prize would be Rs 50,000 and third prize would be Rs 25,000. Similarly, the first, second and third prize for commercial buildings category would be Rs two lakh, Rs one lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively. All prize winners in these categories would also a certificate and shield, he added.
He said that those promoting Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Star rated buildings would also be awarded. They would get Rs five lakh as first prize, Rs four lakh as second prize and Rs three lakh as third prize. Also, certificates would be given to each of them. He said that there are two prizes of Rs 50,000 each for individuals who have made New Innovation or Technology Augmentation in Renewable Energy or Energy Conservation and demonstrated the same.
Only those applications which would be duly verified from the concerned Additional Deputy Commissioner would be considered. The award performa can also be downloaded from website www.hareda.gov.in and further information in this regard is also available on the website, he added.
