Haryana State Election Commission has changed the date of scrutiny of nomination papers in respect of Zila Parishads and for the first phase of Panches, Sarpanches and Member Panchayat Samitis from September 21, 2015 to September 22, 2015.
While stating this here today, State Election Commissioner, Mr. Rajeev Sharma said that now security of nomination papers would be held on September 22 from 10 a.m. onwards. All the Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Election Officers (Panchayat) in the State have been directed to this effect. Rest of the conditions mentioned in the earlier notification for conduct of elections to Panchayati Raj Institutions would remain the same, he added.
