The Haryana Government has decided to organize ‘Investors Meet’ at Gurgaon from March 7 to 9, 2016. This was disclosed by Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal after launching CM e-Dashboard here today.
Describing this Meet as important for the State, he asked the departments to make preparations to make the ‘Investors Meet’ a success. He said that during his visit to US and Canada, Haryana has signed a number of MoUs with multinational companies, business houses and world class educational institutes.
The Chief Minister said that the State government has implemented its Enterprise Promotion Policy – 2015 under which a target has been fixed to provide employment opportunities to four lakh youth. He said that being adjacent to Delhi and facility of international airport, Haryana is a preferred destination for the entrepreneurs and multinational companies to set up their ventures. Besides, the State has talented youth and skilled manpower.
He said that the State government is committed to provide transparent and hassle free services to the entrepreneurs for setting up their unit in the State so that they need not to make frequent round to various government departments for getting their file cleared. Expressing his commitment to zero tolerance to corruption , he made it clear that corruption would not be tolerated at any cost. He said that there is a general perception in the public that the government wants to work honestly but we want the people to say that the government is working honestly. He said that we want to streamline the system but at the same time would not resort to unethical practices, he asserted.
Haryana Chief Secretary Mr D.S Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr R.K Khullar, Additional Principal Secretary Mr Rakesh Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary Information Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department Mr Sanjeev Kaushal, Director General Mr Abhilaksh Likhi, Media Advisor to Chief Minister Mr Amit Arya, OSD Capt Bhupinder and Mr Mukul Kumar, Administrative Secretaries of various departments and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
