Haryana Open School examination results declared

CHANDIGARH, MAY 20
Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani today declared Haryana Open School examination results of Senior Secondary (Fresh) and Subject to Clear (S.T.C) or Credit Transfer Policy (C.T.P) held in March 2017. The candidates can check their result on website of the Board www.bseh.org.in.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Board said that the result of Senior Secondary Open School (Fresh) was 17.19 per cent whereas result of Senior Secondary Open School (S.T.C/C.T.P) was 31.47 per cent. He said that last year in April 2016, the result of Senior Secondary Open School (Fresh) was 43.85 per cent whereas result of Senior Secondary Open School (S.T.C/C.T.P) was 55.24 per cent.
        He said that Pankal Berwal of Fatehabad and and Shallu Saini of Kurukshetra have topped the examination by scoring 440 marks each out of 500 marks. Similary, Rekha of Hisar bagged second position with 436 marks and third position was bagged by Sugandha Jain of Fatehabad with 432 marks.
        The spokesman said that 32,907 candidates had appeared in the Senior Secondary Open School (Fresh) examination, of which 5,656 candidates have passed and 27,251 were under S.T.C. As many as 24,203 boys had appeared in this examination, of which 3,896 have passed and their pass percentage is 16.10 whereas 8,704 girls had appeared in the examination, of which 1,760 have passed and their pass percentage is 20.22. The pass percentage of students in rural areas is 16.91 whereas it is 20.51 per cent in urban areas, he added.
        He said that 12,354 students had appeared in the Senior Secondary Open School (S.T.C/C.T.P), of which 3,888 had passed and 8,466 were under S.T.C. As many as 9,943 boys had appeared in this examination of which 3,115 have passed and their pass percentage is 31.33. Similarly, 2,411 girls had appeared in this examination, of which 773 have passed and their pass percentage is 32.06. The pass percentage of students in rural areas is 30.08 whereas it is 38.94 per cent in urban areas, he added.
