Haryana has become the first state where the fourth batch of students has qualified Class X plus two, along with Level-4 of Applied Skills.
The process for placement of such qualified youth who have attained 18 years of age has been started, and the National Skill Development Corporation is organising job fair from June 28 to July 7, 2017 for providing employment to them in various companies.
While stating this here today, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, Mr. P.K. Das said that Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, with the assistance of National Skill Development Corporation, would organise job fair in five clusters of the state.
He said that written communication had been sent to 140 senior secondary schools of the State to participate in this job fair. According to the information received from all districts, about 1,212 youth are expected to participate in the job fair, he added.
Director, Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, Dr. S.S. Phulia said that in the job fair, placement would be provided to youth who have attained applied skills in Information Technology, retail, security, automobile, beauty and wellness, patient care assistance, and physical education and sports.
He said that job fair would be organised at Government Senior Secondary School in Jind onJune 28, 2017 at 10a.m. for youth of Jind cluster comprising districts Hisar, Jind, Fatehabad and Sirsa. Similarly, job fair would be organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Bhiwani road, Rohtak on June 30 at 10a.m. for youth of Rohtak cluster comprising districts Rohtak, Jhajjar and Bhiwani.
He said that job fair would be organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Police Lines, Ambala on July 3 at 10a.m. for the youth of Ambala cluster comprising districts Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra, and at Government Senior Secondary School, Railway road, Karnal on July 5 at 10a.m. for Karnal cluster comprising districts Karnal, Kaithal, Panipat and Sonepat. Apart from this, job fair would be organised at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sushant Lok, Gurugram on July 7 at 10a.m. for districts Gurugram, Palwal, Faridabad, Nuh, Rewari and Mahendragarh, he added.
CCTV CAMERAS AT HEALTH CENTRES: Haryana Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij said that 4,172 CCTV cameras would be installed in 166 health centres to ensure safety and proper treatment of patients in the State.
He said that these included 960 cameras in 20 district civil hospitals, 792 cameras in 36 Sub Divisional Hospitals and 2,420 in 110 Community Health Centres of the State. The department has invited tenders for sooner installation of cameras. Their installation would not only check any theft incidents, but would also keep eye on behaviour of doctor towards patients, information of treatment being given to them and any misbehaviour with doctors by anti-social elements.
71 SEATS INCREASED IN MD COURSES: Haryana Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij said that 71 seats have been increased in MD courses in Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak.
The Minister said that the increase of seats has been implemented with the approval of Central Government to meet the shortage of specialised doctors in the State. He said that 26 seats have been increased in MD Anaesthesiology, nine in MD Paediatrics, eight each in MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology and MD Psychiatry, six in MD Radio Diagnosis, five each in MS Orthopaedics and MD Ophthalmology and two each in MD Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy and Respiratory Medicine.
Earlier, the State Government had increased MBBS seats from 100 to 150 in Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, district Sonepat.
