Haryana FM approves College teachers pay

CHANDIGARH, SEPT  4 
Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu has given approval to revise the pay of teachers and equivalent cadres in universities and colleges following the revision of pay scales of Central Government employees on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
            The Minister said that in Under Graduate Colleges, the pay of principals would be equivalent to the pay scale of Associte Professor, that is, Academic Level 13A with rationalized entry pat of Rs 1,31,400 with the existing special allowance of Rs 2,000 per month. Similarly in Post Graduate Colleges, the pay of Principals would be equivalent to the pay scale of Professor, that is, Academic Level 14 with rationalised entry pay of Rs 1,44,200 with the existing special allowance of Rs 3,000 per month.
           He said that the existing pay scale of educationists appointed as principal would be protected. Principals would continue to have lien in their main academic post where they would continue to get notional promotions while they are functioning as principal. After completion of their tenure as principal, they would go back to their academic post and draw salary due in such respective academic posts and would not continue to have the principals’ pay.
 CABINET MEETING: Haryana Cabinet will meet under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal on September 5, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Committee Room, fourth floor, Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh.
ADDITONAL CHARGE: Haryana Government has given additional charge to two Chief Accounts Officers (CAO) of Finance Department, with immediate effect. 
          Chander Shekhar, CAO, posted in the office of Administrator, CADA, Panchkula has been given additional charge in the office of Engineer-in-Chief, Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana, Panchkula, while Yashvir Singh posted in the office of Managing Director, Cooperative Sugar Mills, Meham (Rohtak), will also look after the work as CAO in the office of Director, PGIMS, Rohtak.
HEALTH WORKERS SUSPENDED: Haryana Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij today ordered to suspend and register case against  Multi Purpose Health Workers, who are on strike. The State Government has already imposed Essential Services Maintenance (ESMA) Act to deal with problems due to vector-borne diseases.
Mr Vij said that these workers play an important role in dealing with vector-borne diseases but their strike could land hospital in severe situation. The state government has already accepted all their demands, of which some have been sent to Finance department.
These workers could express their protest through any  other manner but not through absence from their duty, otherwise, strict actions would be taken against them. Directions have also been issued for videography in this regards, he added.
