CHANDIGARH, JUNE 5
In Haryana, the Antyodaya Saral Kendras have proved to a milestone in providing the benefits of government schemes and services to people in a time bound manner and to simplify the work. More than 400 services of 37 government departments are being provided at these Kendras.
The Project Director of the Chief Minister Good Governance Associates Program, Dr. Rakesh Gupta honored 68 members of NIC team and IT Cell team of different departments in the Samman Samaroh organized for the success of Antyodaya Saral Project.
Dr. Rakesh Gupta said that Haryana is the first state in the country, which has single online digitized  services on a platform named Antyodaya Saral. In addition to availing these services online, 115 Antyodaya Saral Kendras  have been set up and made operational in December 2018. Since the launch of this platform, 28 lakh citizens have availed these services. About one lakh calls are being received on the helplines number 18002000023 in a month which is why it has become a big helpline run by the government. After providing services, feedback is also being taken from citizens through IVRS, in which 4.6 ranking out of maximum 5-digit ranking has been given by the citizens, which indicates that citizens are very happy with the services.
He said that the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal laid the foundation of this project in the year 2017, so that people would not have to visit different offices for government services and schemes. The project has started yielding positive results. Another feature of this project is that all government services and schemes have been made online so that citizens can apply online at home to avail government facilities. The special thing is that after applying, applicant can also track the application ID by which date he would get this facility and what is the status of his application. Given the status of his application at home, the resident need not visit the departments and it will save time.
Dr. Gupta said that instead of seeking the help of any other agency to bring this kind of technology, the project has been got finalized from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and with the hard work and synergy of the 37 Department and Chief Minister's Office. He said that a Saral Kendra has been established at the district level and to take information and benefits of schemes and to avail the services, Antyodaya Bhawan has been set up. Antyodaya Saral Kendras have been set up at sub-division and tehsil level. The objective of these Kendras is to provide the benefits of all services and schemes being run by the government at the district and sub division level. Token system has been started for the convenience of citizens at the Kendras, he added.
