Swastik, Aditya, Ayaan and Seyan chess champions

 

CHANDIGARH, DEC 26

Swastik Singhal with 3.5 points in under-20 Open category, Aditya Singla with 2.5 points in under – 16 Open category Ayaan Garg with 4.5 points in under 12 Open category and Seyan Sachdeva in Under -8 Open category emerged as champions in their respective categories at the Chandigarh Chess Championship 2021 held for Under-20 (Open and Girls), Under-16 (Open and Girls) and Under 12 (Open and girls) categories,

And Under 08 (Open and girls) which concluded today at New Public School Sec-18-B, Chandigarh. The Championship was organised by Chandigarh Chess Association. A total of 52 boys and girls participated in this Championship.

 Four boys and four girls each in Under-20 and Under-16, two boys and two girls each in under-12 and under-8 category have been selected to represent Chandigarh at the Nationals to be held next year.

 Points position in the U-20 Open and Girls category: 3.5 points: Swastik Singhal. 3 points: Aryan Arora,  Agaaz Bansal,  Krish Gupta. 2.5 points: Goel Pratyaksh, Manobhav Sethi. 2 points: Harsh Yakhmi,  Hriday Malik  1.5 points: Punya Garg.  Precious Bansal (1^st Girl) ,  1 poins: Bhavya Batra  Shirin Bhattacharyya (2^nd Girl). 1 point: Ayushman Bhatt .
