The concluding day of six-day Sukriti Workshop at DAV Senior Public School, Surajpur, Pinjore was marked with a remarkable difference as the children of Personality Development and Social Service Workshop were apprised of the unconditional love and concern, the inexplicable value of milk of human kindness for the deprived and needy during the workshop.
Inmates of Bal Sadan, Sector-12-A, Panchkula were invited to the school as guests, bestowed upon with hearty love, affection, gifts and whole lot of entertainment by the students and staff of personality development and social service camp. The motive being to bring smile on the faces of all children of Bal Sadan.
The students of our school presented colourful cultural programme in front of Bal Sadan guests and they also danced with the school students of the latest tunes of the songs like.. maujia hi mauja, nagada..nagada.. race hai sanso ki…. Inmates of the bal sadan also gave their performance on the stage by singing poems and patriotic songs.
The school students presented gifts like school bags, water bottles , fruits etc to the inmates of bal sadan.
Speaking on the occasion Principal R.P.Anand highlighted the fact that every soul has an access to the bounties of the God and the children are those angles of God, who can distribute the love and smile evenly and unbiased to the less fortunate. Earlier the workshop had been emphasizing on grooming the children personality, mentally and socialy. Social manners and etiquettes confidence enhancement excercises, music, singing, lecture of health and hygiene have been a part of this workshop during the last seven days.
