Chandigarh, May 22 Six students of Veterinary College of CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar have bagged Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
According to Dr. A.K. Pruthi, Dean, College of Veterinary Sciences, six B.V.Sc. students namely Parveen, Amit Kumar, Amresh Kumar, Mahak Singh, Arvind Kumar Yadav and Naresh Lehkra of the college scoring 7, 27, 41, 49, 53 and 54 rank respectively in the national level competitive exam conducted by the ICAR have been selected for the JRF.
He said that under the fellowship they will pursue post graduate studies in the disciplines of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.He said that two other students namely Jitender Yadav and Vikram SIngh with 104 and 202 rank respectively had also qualified the exam for placement.
While congratulating them he saidthat these meritorious students have brought laurels to the faculty of Veterinary College as well as the university.
