CHANDIGARH, JAN 28
The Board of School Education, Haryana has made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) to be held on February 1 and 2, 2014.
While stating this today, Sectary of the Board, Dr. Anshj Singh said that 3, 82,640 candidates would appear in this examination. As many as 503 examination centers have been setup in 13 districts of the state and in Chandigarh. He said that 105 flying squads would monitor the conduct of examination at the centers. Apart from center Superintendents,6539 Supervisors and 1642 Observers have been deputed for these examinations.
He said that effective measures have been taken to curb cheating and use of unfair means in the examination. The Deputy Commissioner will promulgate Section 144 in 200 meter periphery of examination centers in their respective districts and adequate police force would be deputed at the examination centers to control outside disturbance, if any. Videography of all examination centers will be done. All the photostate shops in the periphery of examination centers will remain closed during the examination.
He said that a Control Room would also be set up at Headquarters of the Board from where monitoring of the examination would be conducted. In case of emergency, one can contact the concerned officials on Telephone No. 01664-254604.
