CHANDIGARH, JAN 30
Haryana Excise and Taxation Minister Kiran Choudhry today said that Member of Parliament Shruti Choudhry will contest ensuing Lok Sabha election from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh parliamentary constituency.
Mrs. Choudhry was responding to the queries of media persons regarding possibility of Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Dharambir as a contestant of Lok Sabha from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh seat at Panchkula today.
ETO ASHOK SUKHIJA SUSPENDED: Haryana Excise and Taxation Minister Mrs. Kiran Choudhry today ordered suspension of Mr. Ashok Sukhija, ETO posted at Sirsa for involvement in refund to bogus firms.
She was presiding over a review meeting of the department at Panchkula here today.
The Minister also ordered the Excise and Taxation Commissioner Mr. Anil Malik to start immediate enquiry in the case. She also sought details of all such cases. She also ordered to constitute a six member district level committee for refund cases. She said that special enquiry should be conducted in such cases and anyone who would be involved in such cases would not be spared at any cost.
It was informed in the meeting that there were some reports of refund to bogus firms in district Sirsa.
ADDITIOAL CHARGE: The Haryana Government has given additional charge of one IAS officer and two HCS officers with immediate effect.
Vikas Gupta, Director and Special Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Project Director, Swarn Jayanti Sheri Rozgar Yojna and State Urban Development Society and Chief Vigilance Officer, HUDA, Panchkula has been given the additional charge of Director, Consolidation of Holdings, Director Land Records, Special Collector(HQ) and Special LAO relieving Y.S.Khyaliya of the said charge.
A.S.Mann, Additional State Transport Controller has been given the additional charge of Additional State Transport Commissioner(Road Safety) against a vacant post and Mrs.Anu, City Magistrate, Gurgaon has been given the additional charge of Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurgaon vice Mrs.Veena Hooda, who proceeded on leave.

TRANSFER ORDER OF IAS OFFICERS: Mr. Sameer Pal Srow, Deputy Commissioner, Panipat and Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Panipat has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sonipat in place of Chander Shekhar, who has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jhajjar in place of Mr.Ajit Balaji Joshi, who goes as Deputy Commissioner, Panipat and Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Panipat.
Mr.Sanjay Joon, Additonal Secretary, Home-II Department and Joint Commissioner, Gurudwara Elections has been given the additional charge of Administrator, HUDA, Panchkula relieving Mrs. Ashmia Brar of the said charge.
