Haryana Vigilance Bureau has recommended registration of criminal case against one non-gazetted officer and departmental action against nine gazetted officers, five non-gazetted officers and action against another person as charges have been proved against them in investigations conducted by it.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that
six officers and officials were also caught red handed while accepting bribe ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs.30,000 and cases under Prevention of Corruption Act were registered against them.
They included Rati Ram, Assistant in office of District Elementary Education Officer, Naresh Kumar Audit Officer and Manager of Saraswati Kunj, Co-operative Housing Society, village Wazirabad of district Gurgaon,Bhagat Singh (Suspended Sanskrit Lecturer) of Government Senior Secondary School,Hetampura of district Bhiwani, Vijay Kumar, Consumer Clerk , Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam , Bhiwani and Rajiv Gupta, Junior Engineer, Panchayati Raj, Jind
X-RAY MACHINE INSTSLLED: Haryana’s second ultra modern X-Ray machine for treatment of cattle has been installed at Kisan Sadan Bhawan in Jhajjar. Earlier the farmers and cattle breeders of district Jhajjar and adjoining areas used to take their sick cattle to the Veterinary University, Hisar for X-Ray examination.
It may be recalled that a portable x-ray machine is already available in Jhajjar as it was recently dedicated to farmers by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
The new X- Ray machine was purchased by district administration at a cost of about Rs.19 lakh which would be extremely helpful for cattle breeders.The X-ray of livestock would be carried out on prescribed fee under the supervision of Animal Husbandry Department. The machine would help in extending best treatment to livestock in the area.
DATE EXTENDED: The Haryana Government has extended the last date to submit the applications for the post of Chief Commissioner and Commissioners in the Haryana Right to Service Commission. Now the applications can be submitted latest by February 3, 2014.
