6,743 teachers being transferred in Haryana

CHANDIGARH, AUG 2

The online process of applications for the transfer of headmasters of PGT, elementary and high schools under Teachers’ Transfer Policy 2016 of Haryana School Education Department has been completed and their transfer orders would be issued on August 3.

          While giving this information here today, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, Mr P. K. Das said that the transfer process of headmasters of PGT, elementary and high schools was initiated on July 12, 2017. Under this, 6,743 teachers are being transferred, of which 4,262 are PGT, 257 are headmasters in high schools and 2,224 are headmasters in elementary schools.

          He said that transfer of Principals of Senior Secondary Schools, TGT and C and V teachers would be carried out in the second phase of teachers’ transfer which would be initiated in two days. The transfer process would take about two weeks.
