Chandigarh, Sept 4 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today announced a slew of incentives for the people of Panchkula and Kalka assemblies, including construction of Railway Under Bridge in Sector 19 level crossing on Ambala-Chandigarh Railway line in Panchkula, construction of Garbage Treatment Plant and shifting of Dumping Round from Sector 23, Panchkula to some other place, re-carpeting of internal roads in Panchkula, installation of Panjiri Plant and Mini Milk Plant at Kalka and construction of Chat-Pooja Ghat at Ghaggar River.
Disclosing this here today, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister, Mr Amarjit Singh said that as per the demand of the people of the area, Chief Minister had announced 54 developmental works including 19 for Panchkula and 35 for Kalka assembly.
In Panchkula, he said that Chat-Pooja Ghat would be constructed at Ghaggar River for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar residents like Sector-42 Lake in Chandigarh. The Chief Minister also announced repair of civil dispensary in Sector-12-A, naming of Sector-26-27 chowk as Sant Kabir Chowk, allotment of Rehri Market in Sector-19, solving water issues in village Kharak Mangoli, widening of road from village Mantanwala to Naraingarh, upgradation of government high school Bunga to the level of Senior Secondary School and rehabilitation of Rajiv Colony, Indira Coloy and Kharag Mangoli Jhugi-Jhopri colonies.
He said that Municipal Corporation Building would be constructed in Panchkula. Apart from beautification of Panchkula entry points, Sahaz Safai Kendra would be constructed in each sector in the town. He also announced setting up iron railing, completion of streets and construction of bus shelter at sector-12A, providing basis amenities in labour colonies and procurement of hydraulic platform for extinguishing of fire in high-rise societies in Panchkula.
Referring to the announcements made for Kalka assembly, he said that Ayurvedic dispensary would be constructed at village Kajiyana and Community Health Centre, Raipur Rani would be developed as referral unit. Among other works included construction of new building of Police Station at Raipur Rani, installation of new transformer for public health tubewell in Samanwa, installation of tubewells in Prempura and Natwal, construction of road from Badisher to Thapli, repair of road from link road to Dharampur Harijan Basti, construction of road of Shivalik Development Board in Pinjore, repair of pulia and drainage of water in Khera Sita Ram and installation of electricity pole and transformer near Baba Badhbhag Singh Gurudwara in village Majra Mehtab.
Similarly, Mr Manohar Lal also announced upgradation of school in village Dhatogda in Pinjore, construction Dharampur Kalka road to Kaguwala, construction of street in Harijan Basti at village Bhogpur, providing and fixing of interlock paver block in pinjore, construction of park and nullah in Lekhu colony, ward-3, Pinjore, construction of CC roads from Saints Thomas School and Sukhdev and Ram Avtar to Nanak Rana in Tipra village, CC road in Himshikha colony ward-5, and some other wards in Pinjore, construction of toilets in village Ishar Nagar and Palika Market in Ward-5, construction of toilets in motor market Chandimandir Ward-6 and some other roads in Pinjore.
