Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today directed the Departments of Information Technology (IT) and Labour and Employment to jointly prepare an online mechanism so as to ensure that the Provident Fund (PF) of employees working in any establishment having ten or more employees and employees drawing salary less than 21,000 per month in the State is transferred directly into their bank accounts.
Mr Manohar Lal gave this direction while reviewing the progress of Chief Minister (CM) announcement of 13 departments here today. These departments included Labour and Employment, Forest, Co-operation, Medical Education and Research, Fisheries, Rajya Sainik and Ardh Sainik, HSIIDC, Housing, Tourism, Renewable Energy, Transport, Science and Technology and Chief Secretary Office.
He said that complaints have been received that in many cases, the contractors or employer did not deposit the deducted PF of employees. To provide relief to such employees, an online mechanism should be developed so that their PF should be transferred directly into their accounts.
While directing the departments concerned to speed up the work on announcements made by him, the Chief Minister directed the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department to provide him a list within three days about those projects, the work on which has been stalled due to non-transfer of budget by other departments. He said that provision of Dormitories should be made in all rest houses to be constructed in future so that a common man could avail the facility on nominal rates. He also directed the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) to explore the possibility of setting up of Industrial Sector in Uchana, Jind and Food Park in Dabwali.
The Chief Minister directed the authorities concerned to expedite the setting up of Sainik School at village Matenhail in district Jhajjar. He was informed that while the gram panchayat Matenhail has provided 300 acres of land for this school, the Finance Department has approved Rs 50 crore for the construction of this school. A draft agreement has been prepared and sent to Ministry of Defence, Government of India for approval. After the approval of the draft, a Memorandum of Agreement would be signed between the State Government and Ministry of Defence (MOD), Government of India for setting up of this School.
It was informed that an estimate of Rs 10.42 crore has been prepared for the development and up-gradation of Karan lake and Oasis Tourism Complex in Karnal. Apart from this, a Sikh Museum would be set up in Kurukshetra. Also, it has been decided to set up Virat Sawroop of Lord Krishna in Kurukshetra at an estimated cost of Rs 12 crore. It was also informed that a tourism park would be developed at Topra Kalan in Radaur district Yamunanagar at a cost of Rs two crore. It was also informed that the development of Tourist Place of Pandav Mandir situated at Nalhar in district Nuh has been approved under the Krishna Circuit Phase-II of Ministry of Tourism.

Umashankar, Deputy Principal Secretary Mrs Ashima Brar, Additional Chief Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Mr Ram Niwas, Additional Chief Secretary Tourism Mr Vijai Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary Printing and Stationery Mr V.S Kundu, Additional Chief Secretary Forest and Wild Life Mr S.N Roy, Additional Chief Secretary Transport Mr Dhanpat Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Mr Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Power Department and works related to implementation of CM announcements Mr T.C Gupta, Director General, Electronics and Information Technology Mr Vijayendra Kumar, OSD to Chief Minister Mr Amarjit Singh.
