Gurgaon chess players honoured

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 17
 The  Gurgaon players who won gold medal in under-14 and under-19 category and silver medal in the under-14 section in the recently concluded Haryana Inter-School State Chess Championship were today honoured in Gurgaon today.
Chetan Chauhan, Jayant Chauhan, Harmeet Thukran and Nishant Malik in under-14, and Piyush Sharma, Neetyakshaya Singh, Virender Singh, Anurag Sethi, Ashish Chauhan in under-19 won  gold while Raj Kishore Singh, Kshitij, Parth Ahuja and Sagar Malik bagged silver medal in under-17 category.
These medal winners were honoured by Jagbir Singh Malik, District Elementary Education Officer. Among those present on the occasion were DEO Jyoti Chaudhary, Dy DEO. Ram Kumar organizing secretary Rajpal Chauhan.
These players will represent Haryana in  the School National to be held at Goa in November.
