The Haryana Government today announced to enhance the rate of Dearness Allowance (D.A.) payable to its employees from existing 35 to 45 per cent with effect from July 1, 2010. This was disclosed by Haryana Finance Minister Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav here today.
He said that grant of 10 per cent D.A installment would be given in cash to the employees. The annual impact of grant of D.A. would Rs 576 crore on state exchequer. He said that during the current financial year, the liabilities from July, 2010 to February 2011 would be of Rs 384 crore.
