National workshop on bioinformatics in Rohtak

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 13
The Centre of Biotechnology (CBT) of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak will organize a national workshop on bioinformatics from September 14 to 16.
While stating this here today, Director, CBT Prof. S.K. Gakhar informed that Dr. Madan Mohan, Advisor, Department of Biotechnology Government of India would be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the workshopon September 14. Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Professor and Head, Department of Bioinformatics, CCS Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar would deliver the key note address and MDU Vice Chancellor Dr. R.P. Hooda would preside over the inaugural session of the workshop.
Important topics like Biological Databases, Proteomics, Biological Data and Genomics, Statistical Tools in Bioinformatics would be deliberated upon in the workshop. Eminent resource persons would deliver special lectures in the three day national workshop.
