CHANDIGARH, JULY 9
Controller Finance, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (HPGCL), Mr. B.B. Gupta has been conferred upon with CMA Young Achiever Award – 2014 by CMA under the category of Public Manufacturing Medium (Male).
While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that the Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (I/C), Prime Minister’s Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh gave this award to Mr. Gupta during award presentation ceremony at New Delhi.
The CMA award is presented every year in recognition to the significant contributions to operational efficiency, risk management, value creation, improving Corporate Governance and CSR, and innovation in Cost and Management Accounting Practices made by members of the institute in employment.
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Mr Pritam Singh and President ICAI, Dr A.S. Durga Prasad also graced the occasion.
The Jury for CMA awards 2014 was headed by Justice (Retd.) Mr. S.N. Dhingra, Delhi High Court, Former Member CCI and Former Chairman Appellate Authority of ICAI, ICAI-CMA, ICSI.
