Recruitment in Army is conducted purely on merit basis thus youth should not fall prey to touts. Biometric and computer system will be used in recruitment process and there is no doubt of any irregularity during the recruitment rally to be started on July 11 which will continue upto July 19 at Narnaul.
This was stated by Director Recruiting Office Charkhi Dadri Col. Rajesh Sharma while addressing a press conference at Narnaul today.
He said that some anti-social elements were always trying to cheat youth on false grounds. There a need to remain careful from them. Entire process of Army recruitment is transparent. Biometric attendance system would be adopted in the entire recruitment process and candidates photo would also be captured on computer through webcam. He said that many CCTV cameras have been installed on several points in ground so as to ensure complete transparency.
Col. Sharma said that Army recruitment rally would be conducted in Government Model Senior Secondary School, Narnaul from July 11 to 19. All arrangements have been made in this direction. Recruitment rally would be organized to recruit Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Technical and Soldier Tradesman.
He urged the candidates not to take steroids as urine and blood samples would be tested during recruitment. In case of found consuming any such drugs, his candidature would be straightway cancelled.
Col. Sharma said that city bus service would be started in Narnaul during the recruitment process. Two special buses would ply between railway station and stadium and three between bus stand and stadium on prescribed fare of Rs five. In addition, night bus service would also be pressed into service to facilitate youth coming from Bhiwani, Dadri and Rewari.
Meanwhile Police administration had also made elaborate arrangements for maintaining peace and smooth completion of entire recruitment process. Police team would constantly carry out patrolling outside recruitment place.
