Bus travel facilities to employees of Public Relations

CHANDIGARH, AUG 19
The Haryana Government has decided to extend travel facility in the buses of Haryana Roadways to all third and fourth class employees of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department (IPRL) on the pattern of Police Department.
          While stating this here today, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department Minister Mrs Kavita Jain said that Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has approved this long standing demand of the employees of the Department.
          She said that after the formation of BJP Government in the State, a delegation of employees of the department met with Minister of State for Food and Supplies Mr Karan Dev Kamboj and put forth their demand before him, who sent the same to the State Government. She said that after assuming the charge of the IPRL Department, she took note of this demand and directed the officers to examine the matter. A proposal in this regard was send to the Chief Minister who approved the same in larger interest of the employees.
          Mrs Jain said that the third and fourth class employees of the department perform their duties with utmost devotion and dedication irrespective of any time whether day or night and disseminate various welfare policies and programmes of the State and the Central Government upto the grass root level through Bhajan Mandalis, Drama Parties and Cinema Units. Keeping this in view, it has been decided to extend them travel facility in the buses of State Roadways so that they could discharge their duties with more dedication and commitment.
          Meanwhile, the employees of the Department have welcomed this decision of the State Government as it would help in further improving their efficiency.
