Recruitment of 600 coaches on ad hoc basis soon

CHANDIGARH, AUG 3
Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister  Anil Vij  said that recruitment to fill up 600 posts of coaches on ad hoc basis would soon be conducted.
Meanwhile, the Minister, who also holds the Health portfolio, said that as the Department does not have any provision to check unauthorized online purchase of pregnancy test kits and Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) drugs, the officers have been directed to find ways to curb this practice.
        On the complaint of Mrs. Kamlesh from district Kaithal alleging inaction on part of the Department regarding her complaint that her newborn was exchanged for another baby at Civil Hospital, Kaithal, the Minister ordered DNA test of the baby and a probe into this matter.  
        Mr. Vij, who represents Ambala in the  Legislative Assembly , said that facility of sewerage and drinking water would be provided to every house in all villages and colonies in Sadar and Municipal Corporation areas of Ambala. A proposal in this regard has been submitted to the Central Government and was likely to soon be approved. A scheme to the tune of Rs 37.67 crore was being implemented to ensure adequate supply of drinking water in 16 villages and 63 colonies, he added.
        He said that local bus service would soon be launched in cities and he would soon meet the Transport Minister in this regard. The Transport Department would also operate mini buses in the city to facilitate the commuters, he added.
EX-GRATIA ENHANCED: The Haryana Government   has enhanced the rate of ex-gratia grant to be given to the family members of Armed Forces Personnel that is Army, Navy and Air Force, belonging to Haryana State, who die in harness in the performance of their bona fide official duties while serving in war or operation, in operational area, terrorist or militant attacks or border skirmishes and United Nation Peace Keeping Force.
         While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the revised rate of ex-gratia for battle casualties which occurred on or after March 24,2016 has been enhanced from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. It is in case of death in war or IED Blast and action against militants or terrorist or border skirmishes.
        He said that similarly, in case of death declared as battle casualty, by the Defence authorities, irrespective of any operation or any specified area of operation, Defence Forces Personnel posted in United Nation Peace Keeping Force and accidents like air crash, M.T. accident, accident at sea, heart attack and loss of life during natural calamities, the rate of ex-gratia has been enhanced from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
        He said that the enhanced amount of ex-gratia is applicable to only those personnel of Defence Forces who were residents of Haryana at the time of joining or entry into the service and were martyred on or after March 24,2016. He made it clear that the previous cases would not be reopened. The ex-gratia grant can be claimed within three years of casualty. The ex-gratia amount would be paid from Haryana Chief Minister’s War Heroes Relief Fund, he added.
