The Haryana Government has notified the criteria for exclusion of the creamy layer (those earning more than Rs 6 lakh per annum) from the Backward Classes as per the schedule appended to the Haryana Backward Classes (Reservation in Services and Admission in Educational Institutional) Act 2016.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department said that the children of persons having gross annual income of up to Rs 3 lakh would first of all get the benefit of reservation in services and admission in educational institutions.
The left-out quota would go to such class of Backward Classes of citizens as earn more than Rs 3 lakh but up to Rs 6 lakh per annum. The sections of the Backward Classes earning above Rs 6 lakh per annum would be considered as creamy layer under Section 5 of the Act, the spokesman added.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Mr.Anand Mohan Sharan, IAS, Principal Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi and Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority has been given the additional charge of Chairman, Haryana Minerals Limited, New Delhi against a vacant post.
PUBLICITY ADVISER: Haryana Government has appointed Mr.Jai Bhagwan Mittal of district Kaithal as Publicity Adviser (Audio/Visual) and also to assist the government with Swaran Jayanti Celebrations with immediate effect.
MOBILE PHONES NOT ALLOWED: In view of the ensuing session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, it has been made clear that as per the past practice use of mobile phone would not be allowed in the House or Press Gallery.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha said that in case mobile phone is brought to the Press Gallery, the same should be kept switch off or it may be deposited with the Watch and Ward Assistant on duty who would keep it in safe custody. If anyone requires using mobile phone they can use the same in Press Room or Premises of Haryana Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, he added.
