CHANDIGARH, AUG 12
The Haryana Government has issued instructions that those officers and officials of the State Government who are working in offices located in Chandigarh or Panchkula and living in Chandigarh or Panchkula or Mohali can, after their retirement, get their or their dependents’ domicile or cast certificates issued from their parental department from where they have retired.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the certificates would be issued on a condition that the officer or official has not got issued domicile certificate for himself or his dependents from other states and has not availed any benefit on the basis of this certificate.
He said that a decision to this effect has been taken because it was observed that the retired officers and officials of the State Government were facing difficulty in getting issued domicile and caste certificates for themselves and their dependents. Also, it was decided to synchronize the instructions issued to this effect on January 30,2004, June 17,2004 and March 21,2014.
A written communication in this regard has been sent to all Heads of Departments, he added.
CONSTRUCTING HL BRIDGE: The Haryana Government has decided to construct H.L. Bridge on Lohgarh Nadi or Som River to connect the historic Lohgarh Sahib Gurudwara with the Bhagwangarh village in district Yamunanagar.

CLARIFICATION ON TRANSFERS: The Haryana Secondary Education Department has clarified that in the aftermath of the current transfers of teachers or any other transfer, all approved actions of previous offices will be honoured by the new office regarding payment of reimbursement grant of increment and Assured Career Progression (ACP).
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that it has generally been seen, through the complaints received from different teachers, that the service actions like grants of leave, re-imbursements, increments, ACPs taken by the previous offices are not being recognized by the new offices of a teacher who has been transferred. This kind of attitude on the part of some heads of new offices is creating undue hardships to such teachers.
He also clarified that so far as leave, that is Earned Leave, CCL Leave and Medical Leave are concerned, if the employee is already on leave, transferred from ‘A’ station to ‘B’ station and join his or her new station, he or she could avail the balance leave already sanctioned by the competent authority. Similarly, the salary of the employee, who is on leave at station ‘A’ would get his or her leave salary from the station ‘A’ and after joining at station ‘B’ on transfer, would get his or her salary from station ‘B’, under intimation to the head of the institution regarding sanctioned leave.
