CHANDIGARH, JULY 13
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal will give appointment letters to 87 postgraduate and undergraduate youth who were registered under Saksham Yuva scheme in Faridabad district during a programme to be held in Vishwakarma Skill University, Palwal on August 4, 2017. The post-graduate youth employed in private and government sectors will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 12,000 whereas Rs. 10,000 will be given to graduate youth.
This was informed by Labour and Employment Minister, Mr Nayab Singh Saini was presiding over a meeting of Employment Department here.
He said that priority would be given to a person from a family where no single person is in employment under the ‘Ek Parivar-Ek Rozgar’ scheme. Under the scheme, on giving affidavit the name of the person of such family is recorded whose age is between 18 to 35 years. Neither he is tax payer nor any family member is in employment. As many as 10,799 persons have been registered under this scheme till May 31, 2017.
The Minister directed the officers to take personal interest and get the postgraduate and graduate youth registered under Saksham scheme and ensure their employment. He also directed to ensure filling of forms by youth to avail loan facility for self-employment during the self-employment counseling programs. In addition, youth should be encouraged for self employment, he added.
Mr Saini said that 100 hours work is being ensured for postgraduate and undergraduate youth under the Saksham scheme in each district. He instructed the officers to ensure 100 per cent payment of honorarium to youth and added that any honorarium of these competent youth should not be left pending. Honorarium of the month of June should be completely released till July 20.
Principal Secretary, Employment Mr T.C. Gupta had suspended District Employment Officer, Kaithal Mr Akbar Ali on the charges of pendency in payment of honorarium and negligence in duty.
