The Haryana Government has transferred two Accounts Officers (AO) and promoted three Section Officers (SO) to the post of AO in Finance Department with immediate effect.
Sanjeev Chopra, AO in the office of New and Renewable Energy Department, Haryana, Akshay Urja Bhawan, Panchkula and Mahesh Gupta, AO in the office of Director, Women and Child Development Department, Panchkula will swap their places of posting.
Among those SOs promoted to the post of AO included Kavita Saini posted to the office of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, Panchkula from Zila Sainik Board, Panchkula, Barinder Kumar posted to the office of Estate Officer, HUDA, Panchkula from the office of Director, Agriculture, Panchkula and Vipin Kumar posted to Haryana Vishwakarma Skill Development University, Faridabad at Gurugram from the office of Executive Engineer, HUDA, Division 2, Faridabad, against vacancy.
ENTERTAINMENT TAX: The Haryana Government has directed all gram panchayats in the state to levy tax on entertainments and amusement activities including cinema hall, show, video game parlor, mela, fair, exhibition or any kind of amusement park at the rate as specified by the government from time to time within the limits of gram panchayats concerned.
These taxes would be leviable by each gram panchayat within a period of 15 days from the date of publication of this order in the official gazette.
