Manas Dhambe upsets second seed Aman Dahiya

   

CHANDIGARH, JAN 11  

Manas Dhambe upset second seed. Aman Dahiya by 6-3, 6-4all-Indias boys singles first round match  in the  ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-2) for under-18 years iat the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today. 

Top seed Chirag Duhan defeated Lucky Looser Deep Munim in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. Chirag got some resistance in first set. In the second set Chirag came back strongly and played solid match to closed out the set and match 6-1 easily. In

 the another match Lucas Phanthala of France also advanced into next round. Lucas defeated Ronin Lotlikar 6-4, 6-3 in straight sets.  

 

Top seed Shruti Ahlawat and M Safi of Iran moved into next round in the girls main draw. Shruti Ahlawat defeated Honoka Umeda of Japan in a easy match 6-2, 6-3. 2^nd seed M Safi of Iran outplayed Nandini Dixit 6-0, 6-1 in a one sided match. Kristi Boro; Jo Leen of Malaysia; Lanlana of Thailand; Charmi Gopinath also advanced into Pre-Quarters. Other boys and girls singles matches are in progress.
