CHANDIGARH, JAN 8
Second seed Yuvan Nandal defeated Daksh Ashok Agarwal in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 in the boys singles finals of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-3) Tournament for boys and girls under-18 at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.
Yuvan won the first set easily without conceding a single game. In the second set Yuvan took some resistance, finally Yuvan used his experienced to closed the set and match 6-4.
In the girls singles Finals unseeded Tejasvi Dabas upset third seed Vaishnavi Adkar in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Tejasvi played in a top foam and maintained her momentum throughout the match.
In the boys doubles Finals Fadi Bidan of Lebanon and T Boosarawongse of Thailand defeated Manas Dhamne / Aryan Shah of India 7-5, 6-7(3) [12 10]
Top seed Anya Murthy and Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand won girls double title. Anya and Lanlana defeated 3rd seed Vaishnavi Adkar and Rutuja Chaphalkar in straight sets 7-5, 7-5.
Mr. TVSN Prasad, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning, Government of Haryana, distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up of both events.
