Qualifier Manas Dhamne of India and fifth seed Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand wion boys and girls singles titles, respectively, in the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-2) for boys and girls under-18 at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.
. Manas Dhamne upset seventh seed Aayush B Bhat of USA 7-5, 6-1. played in a top foam throughout the match. Manas got some resistance in the first set. In the second set Manas Dhamne maintained his rhythm and closed the set and match easily by conceding only one game.
In the girls singles finals today fifth seed Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand knocked out sixth seed Vlada Mincheva of Russia in a three- setter closed contestant marathon match in 3 hours 45 minutes 7-6(8), 4-6, 7-6(8). Both players played top tennis with high intensity throughout the match. In the final set Vlada Mincheva saved many match points, finally Lanlana Tararudee used her experience to closed the set and match in tie break 10-8.
