Allotment of type 12 and 13 houses in Chandigarh

House Allotment Committee, UT Chandigarh has invited applications for the allotment of Type-12 and 13 categories of General Pool Houses at Chandigarh.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Committee said that the employees of the Government of Haryana/Punjab/Chandigarh Administration and Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh working at Chandigarh, Panchkula or Mohali, except district level offices, could apply for these houses.
For 13-type (old) houses, only those employees, who were Class-IV employee and were appointed as Class-IV on or before 1.1.1998 and for 12-type (old) houses, only those employees, who were Class-III employees upto 1.1.1991 could apply, said the spokesman, adding that an employee might apply for a house lower than his/her entitled category to which he/she was entitled earlier. He would be allowed to exercise this option only at the time of submitting application and not thereafter.
The spokesman said that an official could apply only for one category of house on prescribed form ‘A’ and ‘D’. The employees who had earlier applied and their names exist in the old seniority list for a particular category of houses, but have not been allotted house, need not to apply afresh. Their names would be included in the new revised seniority list for the year 2010-11.
The applications on the prescribed form should be forwarded to the House Allotment Committee, Chandigarh by May 14, he added.
