Haryana Governor
Jagannath Pahadia today visited Haryana
Pavilion in ongoing India International Trade Fair-2013 at Pragati
Maidan in New Delhi. Appreciating the presentation of exhibits at the pavilion,
Mr Pahadia said that the progress of Haryana has been adequately presented at
the Haryana pavilion.
Mr
Pahadia was accompanied by his daughters Sunita, Kusum and Shivani. Mr
Pahadia visited all the stalls at different floors. Principal Resident
Commissioner of Haryana, Mr P.K. Mahapatra and Administrator of Trade Fair
Authority of Haryana, Mr Anand Mohan Sharan were also present on this occasion.
Mr Sharan told Mr Pahadia that the achievements of various
departments have been presented under different heads in the Haryana pavilion
this time.
The
Theme of Haryana pavilion this year is Inclusive Development. Mr
Pahadia appreciated different dimensions of progress shown under the
title Haryana Sarkar – Sapne Hue Sakar. The information about
boosting the power generation in the State, strengthening of basic
infrastructure, empowerment of Panchayati Raj institutions, affordable housing
scheme, achievements in sports, Haryana emerging as international education
hub, development of Mewat region, Daal-Roti scheme recently started under Food
Security Program etc., was well displayed and Mr Pahadia took keen interest in
them.
At
the stall of Manav Rachan International University, Mr Pahadia was shown ‘pick
n place robot’ and other innovations prepared by the students of the
university. Mr Pahadia also showed keen interest in the craft work of rural
artisans.
One
artist, on hearing about Haryana Governor’s visit, took out his photo from the
internet and prepared a pencil sketch of the photo, which he presented
to Mr
Pahadia.
